INTERSECTING FIELD

RESIDENTIAL HIGH-RISE

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

140000 sq.ft

The project is developed by using collage as a system to experiment with the idea of breaking the grid and developing a formal language for the building. The project aims to build connections to the larger urban context and to break the original residential grid.  The project unrolls itself to become available to the vibrant urban fabric, visually and programmatically. The site has an interesting stance in the urban context due to its location in a rigid residential grid system of San Francisco.
